Electromagnetism, as it´s name suggests, is the key for this machine to work. It means electricity creates an artificial magnetic field so ferrus particles are atracted by the equipment. That is, an iron core is encircled by a conductive wire. When the current goes through the coil, a temporary magnetic field is produced and the ferric metals are cought.
All of that means the electromagnet works thanks to the power supply, so when there is no power at all, the magnetic field disappears and the ferric metals fall down, so the machine is easily cleared.

Electromagnets may well be installed at any factory where its raw material is contaminated by ferric metals. This type of machine is perfect to separate large size particles which hardly ever are found in between the raw material.

The equipment dimenssions and its magnetic force depend on the place where de electromagnet is going to be installed. There are important aspects to keep in mind such as the conveyor belt width. On the other hand, the material is also essential; it means type of material, quantity per hour and size.
