Product Description

Electromagnetism, as its name suggests, is the key for this machine to work. It means electricity creates an artificial magnetic field.
That is, an iron core is encircled by a conductive wire. When the current goes through the coil, a temporary magnetic field is produced and the ferric particles are attracted.

Electromagnetic overbands are thought to work over a conveyor belt.
Its core is an electromagnet that is surrounded by a belt. When the ferric particles are caught by the electromagnetic block, they get stuck on the band, whose purpose is to move the particles away to be placed in a separate container. This way, the overband is always clear and able to continue its job getting more ferric materials.

LONG WORKING HOURS
The main difference between this type of electromagnetic overbands and the rest, is the way the electromagnet is cooled. There is a non-stopping oil circulation which keeps the coil temperature low. This way, the working hours may be longer.

WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS

Electromagnetic overbands cooled by recirculating oil (ORFEM) are suitable to work at any materials factory where there are many ferric pieces contaminating the material.  This is the reason why the ferric metals need to be separated.
