The magnetism law is the key for this system to work. This means, some materials are, in a natural way, capable of attracting ferric particles.
The CFEM system is composed of two paralel drums surrounded by a belt which makes the material be transported.
The second cylinder is an inducing magnetic drum, which works to separate the materials. This means, ferric particles get stuck on the drum surface and do not fall down until the magnetic field force decreases and is over.
On the other hand, non ferric particles are not magnetized and continue their way on the belt.
A WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS
Magnetic belts are suitable to work at any industry where there are ferric particles which contaminate the raw material. That is, CFEMs may be installed at either glass, plastic, cork industries or wood, ceramics and mining factories.
Magnetic belts are designed according to the client requests. There are some aspects which need to be analysed to offer the best solution, such as the type of material, its size or the quantity that is processed per hour.
